Social environment

Aalborg is a small and compact city. It feels safe and friendly. The centre's main component, the Aalborg Hall, can be divided into sections. The complex also contains a hotel, restaurant, bowling alley, and a number of meeting rooms.




Social participation

There are plenty of sporting opportunities both for whatching and participating; the inhabitants share the Danish trait of respecting privacy.


In recent years, they share environmental awareness; The city center has some beautiful medieval houses and an old royal castle, where the native people come out to talk.

 Aalborg Theater It is the main theater in Aalborg, Denmark. Built in 1878, it was subsequently modified by Julius Petersen and was remodeled in 2000. Its address is still Jernbanegade (Railway Street), although the station and the theatre have both moved. The theatre has three stages and seats 870 in the main auditorium. There are 10-12 annual productions with a total of 250-400 performances, covering a wide selection of drama and musical. Nordkraft Nordkraft is a cultural centre in the Danish city of Aalborg. Opened in 2009, it is located in a former electricity generating station close to the waterfront in an area designated for cultural development. Today Aalborg is one of the most important cities in Northern Jutland (Nordjylland). It is known that the first settlement in Aalborg dates back to 700 AD. One of the most important aspects in Aalborg and that makes it one of the most important centers, not only of the Country of Denmark, but of commerce, is the fact that it is the closest point to the Limfjord. Even though the first settlement dates back to 700 AD. The name itself of Aalborg was first made known in the 11th century, the first written mention was in the year 1040, but with a different name, “Alabu” (the place by the stream).
